Barrett Business Services, Inc. Announces New Area Vice President for the East Coast

EASTON, Md., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ --

Barrett Business Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBSI) announces the appointment of

Judith L. Gabriel as the Area Vice President for the Company's East Coast

operations. Ms. Gabriel has served as the Zone Manager for the Mid-Atlantic

Zone for the past two years and will now manage, from Easton, an expanded

territory on the East Coast, which will include offices in Maryland, Delaware,

North Carolina and South Carolina.

Ms. Gabriel joined Barrett in 1994 as a result of the acquisition of her

company, Personnel Management & Consulting. She holds a Masters degree in

Advanced Management from Pace University in New York City and a BA from the

University of Iowa. She has also attended the Executive Management Program at

the Dartmouth Institute.

With her extensive experience in the personnel field, she has worked with

several business owners and leaders to develop the human resource services to

meet their business needs. In addition, she has been called upon to teach

personnel issues for Small Business Development Workshops.
